For Providers
Thurston County Project Access is based on donated medical services. This is made possible by maintaining a strong network of health care professionals who volunteer their services free of charge to patients in need.
Through a growing collaboration with other community programs and agencies, TCPA patients have access to in and outpatient hospital services for cancer care to cardiac surgery and the chance to get connected to a primary care provider that meets their needs. The generous support of specialty care allows the primary care physicians and other providers to support additional low-income patients.
Project Access referral are carefully screened and managed to assure patients get the care they need, while providers share the responsiblity for care fairly throughout the community.

While TCPA patients are enrolled into the program, we screen for additional needs and services, such as food, housing, insurance, and other opportunities. Our goal is to transition patients into affordable health insurance coverage if they qualify, and at the very least, ensure that their social needs are met.
