Twin Harbors Pharm-Assist Network (THPAN) has just finalized the
implementation of a regionally centralized software solution
(MedServices); which will allow remotely located staff and volunteers
access a pharmaceutical assistance software application in order to
assist low-income and uninsured people in 5 counties.
Mark Reed Hospital, Willapa Harbor Hospital, Shoalwater Bay Tribal
Health Clinic, the Aberdeen Coastal Community Action Program, SHIBA
volunteers, Southbend United Pharmacy and CHOICE Regional Health
Network were the recipients of a HRSA Network Development Grant, which
runs for a 3 year period.
The network has forged collaborative relationships with the
following entities; Columbia Pacific RD & EDD, Catholic Community
Services, Southwest Washington Area Agencies on Aging, Morton General
Hospital, Neighborhood Free Medical Clinic, Dr. Antoine Johnson,
Cowlitz Family Health Center, Ocean Park Clinic and WorkSource of
Southbend and Aberdeen to name a few. We are currently adding users to
the network and anticipate inviting additional partners as the network
continues to grow.
